Upcoming Events

Coming soon we have multiple events!

Research Lecture Series

During our upcoming Research Lecture Series, we will be hosting graduate students and professors who will talk about the research that they are currently doing. Graduate students may show demos of some of the techniques they are using in the lab.

2021 College Admissions Panel

We will also be hosting a 2021 College Admissions Panel in partnership with the experts at Princeton Review. During this discussion, high schoolers can gain a better understanding of how to design their college application to get into the schools of their dreams.

Quest for Space

This summer, our Quest for Space program hopes to recruit students to participate in our student-led engineering teams in which they learn about Space Art, where you will use block coding to create video messages, and become a Space Apprentice through which you learn to run an automated experiment on the ISS. For more information about this program check out this video!

Virtual Lecture Series

In order to continue exposing high school students to college research, YRP will be hosting Virtual Lecture Series throughout the year. Cornell professors from different fields of study will be giving mini-lectures discussing their research and experiences. All high schoolers are welcome to listen in on the lectures and interact with the professors. We will also be holding college admissions seminars for high schoolers looking for some guidance from current college students. In addition, we will hold a professional alumni series where high schoolers will learn about potential careers after college.

We also have recordings of past lecture series. Feel free to browse through past topic and watch any lectures that interest you! Recordings of each lecture are posted below.
